"Once, there were seven brothers, who for love of their father swore an oath most terrible. Abandoning everything they loved saving only each other, they left their home and went to war. One by one, they fell to madness and despair, and in the end only one was left. He passed out of song and tale and no one knows where he went, or what became of him."
